Origami figure from a photo

This template turns a person into a freestanding origami paper figure. The face, hairstyle and outfit colors are expressed through paper planes, creases and printed color areas, making the whole figure look like a physical tabletop object. It is not a photographic face pasted onto a paper body: folds form both the features and clothing.

Upload a waist-up or full-body photo of one person. Visible clothing helps determine the paper colors, while an unobstructed face helps retain a recognizable shape. The pose is invented, so arms and legs may differ from the source. The preset is designed for one figure without extra props.

Use the result for a greeting card, avatar or paper-craft concept. It depicts an imagined complex model and is not a usable folding pattern. Check the face, number of limbs and believability of the paper construction.
