MiniMax H3 Max and H3 Max Turbo are now on VividLoop
Video with sound, 5 to 15 seconds long, up to 1080p. Several times faster than the other models in our catalog, and Turbo is now the cheapest video on VividLoop.

Two new models have arrived in the video section: MiniMax H3 Max and its lighter version, H3 Max Turbo. Both generate clips from 5 to 15 seconds long at up to 1080p, with sound included.
What sets them apart is speed and price. Where other models need a minute and a half or more, H3 finishes in about half a minute. And Turbo is now the cheapest way to get a video on VividLoop: five seconds for 20 π.
In short
- Fast. In our tests a five-second clip was ready in 11β17 seconds β several times faster than any other model in the catalog.
- Cheap. Turbo starts at 4 π per second, H3 Max at 9 π. That is 2β5 times cheaper than Seedance at the same resolution.
- Quality close to the leaders. In blind comparisons H3 Max holds its own next to Seedance 2.5.
- Sound included. The model scores the scene itself at no extra cost.
- Any length from 5 to 15 seconds. You pay for exactly the length you pick.
- Six aspect ratios β from vertical 9:16 to widescreen 21:9.
- First and last frame on both models, up to four reference images on H3 Max.
Two versions: Max and Turbo
H3 Max is the senior version of MiniMax's H3 video model. It generates video from text, from a first and last frame, and from references. Attach up to four images β a character, an object, a location β and the model will combine them into a single scene.
H3 Max Turbo is a lighter version of the same model at half the price. It works from text and from frames, but does not accept references.
| H3 Max | H3 Max Turbo | |
|---|---|---|
| Text to video | yes | yes |
| First and last frame | yes | yes |
| Reference images | up to 4 | no |
| Sound | always | always |
| Duration | 5β15 s | 5β15 s |
| Resolution | 480p, 768p, 1080p | 480p, 768p, 1080p |

Pricing
The price depends on resolution and duration: you pay for every second of video. Reference images are free.
| Resolution | H3 Max | H3 Max Turbo |
|---|---|---|
| 480p | 9 π/s | 4 π/s |
| 768p | 14 π/s | 7 π/s |
| 1080p | 27 π/s | 14 π/s |
For example, a five-second clip at 768p costs 70 π on H3 Max and 35 π on Turbo, while a ten-second clip at 480p costs 90 π and 40 π.
Compared with other models
The table shows the price of one second of video on VividLoop. Where a model only sells fixed-length clips, we converted the price to a per-second rate.
| Model | Resolution | π per second |
|---|---|---|
| H3 Max Turbo | 480p | 4 |
| H3 Max | 480p | 9 |
| Seedance 2.5 | 480p | 17 |
| H3 Max Turbo | 768p | 7 |
| Veo 3.1 Fast | 720p | 7.5 |
| Google Omni Flash | 720p | 8β10 |
| Kling 3 Turbo | 720p | 11 |
| H3 Max | 768p | 14 |
| Seedance 2 | 720p | 25 |
| Veo 3.1 Quality | 720p | 31 |
| Seedance 2.5 | 720p | 37 |
What the table shows:
- Turbo at 480p is the cheapest video in the catalog. A second costs a quarter of what Seedance 2.5 charges at the same resolution.
- Turbo at 768p is 1.6 times cheaper than Kling 3 Turbo and almost the same price as Veo 3.1 Fast: eight seconds cost 56 π versus 60 π.
- H3 Max at 768p is 1.8 times cheaper than Seedance 2 and 2.6 times cheaper than Seedance 2.5. At 1080p the gap grows: half the price of Seedance 2 and less than a third of Seedance 2.5.
To be fair: if you need 1080p for as little as possible, also look at Google Omni Flash β ten seconds at 1080p cost 80 π there.
Speed
Speed is where H3 stands out most. We timed how long the model works on a five-second clip at 480p: 11 to 17 seconds. Including delivery of the result to the app, that comes to about half a minute.
For comparison, here is how long other VividLoop models usually take to deliver a clip (median over the last month and a half):
| Model | Typical clip length | Wait |
|---|---|---|
| Veo 3.1 Fast | 8 s | ~1.5 min |
| Kling 3 Turbo | 7 s | ~1.5 min |
| Google Omni Flash | 8 s | ~3 min |
| Seedance 2.5 | 10 s | ~4 min |
| Seedance 2 | 10 s | ~8 min |
Even a short 480p clip takes Seedance 2.5 almost three minutes; H3 needs about half a minute. For drafts this changes a lot: test an idea, tweak the prompt, run it again β all before you get distracted.
One caveat: we measured at 480p. At 768p, 1080p and on longer clips you will wait longer.
Quality
Artificial Analysis compares video models blind: viewers pick the better of two clips without knowing which model made which. As of mid-October 2026, H3 Max ranks fifth there in both text-to-video and image-to-video. That puts it in the same group as Seedance 2.5 and Seedance 2, and clearly above Veo 3.1.
Turbo is not in the ranking. It is the lighter version, so for a final clip H3 Max is the better choice.
References: your character in a new scene
With H3 Max you can attach up to four images β say, a photo of a person and a photo of a place β and describe in the prompt what should happen. The model carries their appearance, clothing and details into the clip.

Reference images need standard proportions: 1:1, 4:3, 3:4, 16:9, 9:16, 5:2 or 2:5. We crop an image of any other shape around the center to the closest of these, so keep the important part near the middle.

Things to keep in mind
- Sound cannot be turned off. If you need a silent clip, remove the track in any video editor.
- With frames, the image sets the format. Upload a first frame and the video takes its proportions. You can choose the aspect ratio when generating from text or from references.
- The last frame only works together with a first frame.
- Frames and references don't mix: one generation uses one or the other.
- References are images only. On VividLoop the model does not accept video or audio.
- 1080p is an upscaled 768p. It costs twice as much, so test your idea at 768p first.
- Length is 5 to 15 seconds. For longer clips, try Seedance 2.5: it goes up to 30 seconds.
How to try it
- Open the video section.
- Pick MiniMax H3 Max or H3 Max Turbo.
- Describe the scene in the prompt and, if needed, attach frames or references.
- Choose the resolution and duration β you will see the price before you start.
Tip: look for the idea on Turbo at 480p, then finish the best take on H3 Max at 768p or 1080p.
